This was my first time at Sai Sushi, as recommended from a coworker. The sashimi and rolls were amazing -- definitely a community vibe. Saturday nights are busy so there was a 5 minute wait but nonetheless well worth it!
I'll definitely be back with my family, thank you Sai! -

Excellent food
Chu Toro was tasty and like butter
Sai-tanic roll was the bomb!

Was visiting a friend in Riverside. Wanted to grab a quick bit for lunch. -

Bad and old sushi. Yuck. All sushi was Lukewarm, not even cold. Will not come back.
Best thing was the warm edamame appetizer.
Why is sushi warm?? Weird.
Waitress was super nice. -

Ordered the Chuck Norris on the recommendation of the couple sitting next to us at the sushi bar. It was delicious! The tempura shrimp inside the roll was still crispy which means they served it quickly after rolling it which we appreciate.
We were going to order the 14 piece sashimi but the waitress would not ask the chef what the chefs choice sushi of the day was so we didn't want to gamble on what it might be in case it was something we didn't like. We found this odd because other sushi restaurants we dine at will ask the chef what the sushi of the day is and let us know before we decide what to order so it's not a mystery.
Instead we ordered the Lion King which was a hot roll and the warm salmon on a cold day was so comforting! Also delicious although there was a little too much creamy sauce.
Overall we enjoyed our food but the service was slow and the waitress was neither friendly nor attentive. We had to wait until someone who dined there more often than we asked for a menu for us!
Then we had to wait a while to order and the waitress seemed irritated that we did not just give our paper to the chef.
Then she finally came and placed our order.
We also had to wait a while to pay.
Good food but could use more attentive service as we almost left before we ordered. -

This place came recommended but we were disappointed. Did not live up to the hype. Sushi didn't even come with sushi rice but regular rice causing rolls to fall apart. The fish was sliced so thin it was perhaps a third of regular sushi nigiri. We will go elsewhere for our fix.
